Happy Birthday Nathan!!!   And here is your present.  As soon as you have your new address in NYC I will ship this to you.  This is a big quilt…perhaps 80 x 90…big enough to cover the top of a queen size bed, and it is light enough to use as a summer quilt on those air-conditionless nights in the big city.  Make us proud tonight.  Conduct well.  Do you have anyone video-ing the performance so we can watch it all on YouTube?

Clay now leads with 61, Durry second with 59 and Donna has 52.  Dave is finished with 48 points and no prospects of getting any more.  All the rest of his teams are out.

In fact, the tournament is now between Clay and Durry.  Clay’s final two (NC & UCLA) are the same as Donna’s, so if it finishes that way, Clay wins.  Durry’s finals are between Kan and Mem.  We’ll see what the final four looks like on Sunday night.

here is a new piece that I am working on with Carolyn for a show up in Harlem.  Its going to be a huge pile of objects needed for a fantastical post apocalyptic world.  here are just the first few objects.  we  have one month let to make stuff.  its all textile…even those little batteries.

Now the real tournament starts.  Donna and Dave tied with 40.  Durry with 39.  Clay with 37.

Second round…Davey still in the lead with 34 points, Donna in second with 32.  Durry and Clay waiting to make their move with 29 and 27.  We got ‘em where we want ‘em.

Augusta, GA….Easter Sunday 1990.  Virginia, on the left,  has her own 4 year old daughter today…and Daniel in back is 33 this year.

There are four players…Donna, Clay, Dave and Durry.  And the leader after the first round…Dave at 24 points.  Donna’s in second place (22) followed by Durry at 21 and Clay, in fourth place with 19.

Do we want the winner to take all or should we put some up for second place?  Your call.  Let me know.
